Christmas time is full of magic for young children. The adults create an almost surreal world for them full of wonder and enchanting fables. The one thing children look forward to all year round is Santa Claus; at least the ones that have been good. Santa Claus, however, is not alone. He comes with his own posse of flying reindeer and helper elves who come with him from the North Pole where they assemble the gifts he carries in his red sleigh for all the children in the world alike.

Around The House:

A typical holiday house always has a burning fireplace with plenty of extra firewood, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, a nativity scene and dozens and dozens of gifts that lie under the Christmas tree to be opened on Christmas morning. Children look forward to their gifts so eagerly; believing that their gifts come from the North Pole. They often sit in front of the fireplace at night drinking hot cocoa and write letters to Santa telling him what they want and leaving him plates of cookies to eat. The next thing they do is expectantly hang their stockings on the mantle of the fireplace without a doubt in their minds that they will get everything they wished for. And, that is why every time you see a Seasons Greeting card there will always be plenty of smiling faces in the photo!

Can it be better?

Well, we just have to ponder about it thinking if we are making the most of the opportunity provided to us for sharing love and kindness. It could be the festival of Christmas or any other festival which engrosses us to be in harmony. We could make it better by actively participating and using the opportunity provided to meet our friends, family, acquaintances or even strangers and getting to spend quality time with them.

Removing the social barrier that we currently possess and letting our spirits free and enjoying every moment of our life will add value to it. Be it the occasion of Christmas or New Year, we get a chance to revive and live our life to the fullest.
